There are several excellent rivers, numerous lochs and Solway coastline for all types of fishing in Dumfries and Galloway. During your holiday with us, we are able to arrange a day or longer for you to experience all types of fishing.
By this we mean:
Fly fishing - including tuition by local providers
Trout and Course Fishing - at loch locations by boat or from the bank
River Fishing - for salmon and trout
Sea Fishing - numerous popular locations along the Solway coast
From our base in Castle Douglas, we link with local providers and arrange this activity as part of your holiday in Galloway organised by us.
Includes - 2 nights 3 or 4 star B&B (assuming 2 sharing a double / twin room); welcome meeting to go over the break itinerary.
Itinerary
Prior to your arrival we consult with local fishermen about the best options for the type of fishing your prefer. We have several contacts in different locations who have excellent knowledge of what's available.
After we've worked out a break itinerary, we then respond with a proposal for you to consider.
On your arrival we have a welcome meeting and go over the fishing locations, transport and other arrangements.
Accommodation not provided after the tour today but can be arranged at extra cost.
Includes - 2 nights 3 or 4 star B&B (assuming 2 sharing a double / twin room); lunch each day; welcome meeting to go over the break itinerary and 2 day's guiding.
Itinerary
Similar to FB1 above, this break includes transport and a guide or ghillie depending on the type of fishing break required.
Accommodation is not provided after the second day but can be arranged at extra cost.
We will soon have Itineraries for this section in place for 2012.
