Itinerary
The route we provide allows you to take your own car into the beautiful Galloway Hills to visit a country sports company where you will have the option of trying one or more of the country sports mentioned.
With prior consulatation we will arrange a package with the provider to suit your preferred country sports. The cost of the break will depend on the activities chosen.
For example, 'Have a go' at trout fishing' - £35 per person (approx 2 - 3 hours)
Lunch is provided.
Depending on the time involved with each day's country sports, there is the option to visit some scenic locations during the drive to and from the venue
Accommodation is not provided after the second day but can be arranged at extra cost.
We are able to tailor a country sports holiday to suit your requirements, either at the venue mentioned or at other locations.

Itinerary
Enjoy a two night break and enjoy Scottish hospitality with locally produced food including locally sourced venison and game plus good selections of real ales and wine. Plus learn the skills of clay target shooting with professional and friendly tuition.
Our ‘Introduction to Clay Pigeon Shooting’ includes all the equipment required including guns, cartridges, clays, eye and ear protection plus expert and friendly instruction. Participants will spend time ‘Off Range’ getting to know their weapon plus the safety behaviour and etiquette required at a shooting ground. They will then be taken ‘On Range’ to a selection of shooting stands where they will receive instruction on a selection of exciting targets.
The instructors have years of experience within clay pigeon shooting as well as all aspects of game shooting and have developed a great deal of knowledge and understanding of the art and techniques of shooting.
An ‘Introduction to Clay Pigeon Shooting’ is ideal for juniors or novices wishing to learn about the basics of clay pigeon shooting and includes the following:
Off Range:
•Shooting ground rules and regulations
•Shotgun and ammunition familiarisation including shotgun security
•Shotgun safety
•Personal protective equipment & shooting accessories
•Cleaning the shotgun
On Range
•Shooting etiquette around the shooting ground
•How to shoot a moving target (50 Targets)
Inclusive of:
•Friendly & professional instruction, gun hire, cartridges, hearing and eye protection and insurance
•50 Clays
•Spectators welcome and may take photographs
•Session last approx 2.5 hours and may depend on group size
